About The Position

The Laser Cutter Operator sets up and operates laser cutting equipment to produce quality parts from metal sheets, plates, and other raw materials. The role requires experience with laser cutting operations, blueprint reading, machine settings, measurements, and safety procedures. The operator loads raw materials, unloads finished parts, monitors quality, maximizes material usage, performs routine maintenance, and maintains a clean, organized work area.

Requirements

• Previous laser cutting or CNC machine operating experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Basic understanding of measurements, decimals, geometry, and metric conversions.
• Experience with machine setup, adjustments, and quality inspections.
• Ability to safely lift up to 80 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100–125 lbs.
• Comfort standing and walking for extended periods and working around manufacturing equipment.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.

• Forklift experience or certification.
