About The Position

Allegiant Manufacturing is seeking a Laser Operator to set up and operate laser cutting equipment at its Kansas City, Kansas facility. The position is part of a metalworking operation that provides stamping, fabrication, machining, tooling, and value-added assembly. The work involves interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings, inspecting parts, adjusting machines to maintain production quality, and using Mastercam programming software. The operator follows safety procedures and manufacturing best practices and works with team members to meet production goals.

The role is scheduled for a four-day workweek, Monday through Thursday, with 10-hour second-shift days; Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are off depending on customer needs. The job requires standing and moving throughout a 10-hour shift and lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Experience operating laser cutting machines.
• Experience with or knowledge of Mastercam programming.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Dependable work ethic and strong safety mindset.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience or training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand and move throughout a 10-hour shift.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
