About The Position

The Laser Cutter Operator sets up and operates laser cutting equipment to produce quality parts from metal sheets, plates, and other raw materials. The role requires following blueprints, drawings, and job specifications, adjusting machine settings, and inspecting finished parts. The operator also handles materials, performs routine machine maintenance, maintains an organized work area, and follows workplace safety procedures while communicating with team members.

The position is located in Ooltewah, Tennessee, and works Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM on first shift.

Requirements

• Previous laser cutting or CNC machine operating experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Basic understanding of measurements, decimals, geometry, and metric conversions.
• Experience with machine setup, adjustments, and quality inspections.
• Ability to safely lift up to 80 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100–125 lbs.
• Comfort standing and walking for extended periods and working around manufacturing equipment.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.

• Forklift experience or certification.
