Large Assembly Production Supervisor (Days)

Air Products•St. Louis, MO
•Onsite

About The Position

The Large Assembly Production Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of day-shift operations within an assigned product-line work center at Air Products’ St. Louis Membrane Solutions manufacturing facility. The facility assembles, tests, and ships air separation modules for aerospace, nitrogen, dehydration, and process-gas applications. Because assembly is the final production step before shipment, the supervisor is accountable for safe operations, build and test quality, and accurate documentation for products made to rigorous specifications. The supervisor leads and coordinates approximately 20–24 production technicians and Team Leads. The role is accountable for productivity, schedule adherence, employee training and development, engagement, and employee relations. It requires product-line-specific knowledge of assembly processes, test protocols, and quality documentation; development of Team Leads and technicians as the site scales; and structured handoffs to the night-shift supervisor. The position also coordinates with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Continuous Improvement teams to resolve production issues, support corrective actions, and integrate new products and processes. The supervisor works collaboratively across the business with minimum direction from management.
