About The Position

Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer- and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment. The role may require direction or guidance from the Service Manager or Shop Foreman. The technician maintains professional communication with all company locations to ensure information flows appropriately. This is an onsite, safety-sensitive position in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

Requirements

• Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used to repair agricultural equipment.
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use standard computer software applications, including diagnostic software and internet functions.
• Good skills operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Good driving record and safety habits.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic agricultural equipment diagnostics and determine needed repairs.
• Perform basic agricultural equipment repairs as requested by the Service Manager or Shop Foreman.
• Participate in job-related training and development.
• Prepare reports and forms required in connection with work assignments.
• Maintain current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintain the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and practice good safety habits.
• Maintain professional communication with company locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
