About The Position

Landscape Gardens is seeking a Landscaping Sales Representative to sell landscaping and hardscape services to high-end residential clients in Southeast Michigan. The sales role is supported by a strong lead-generation pipeline and includes opportunities in design/build, maintenance, installation, enhancement, and snow services. The position is located in Troy, Michigan, and serves Oakland County. Compensation is described as a base plus commission, with earning potential of $100,000–$110,000. Requirements

At least 3 years of landscape sales experience, including design/build projects, maintenance, enhancement, and snow sales.
Demonstrated knowledge of plants and hardscape for high-end residential projects or other construction projects.
Basic knowledge of materials and labor costs.
Excellent spoken and written interpersonal communication skills, internally and externally.
Valid driver’s license and a clear Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities

Conduct visits with clients and prospects to sell company services.
Promote the company’s design/build, maintenance, enhancement, and snow programs.
Maintain relationships with current and former clients to identify enhancement opportunities.
Compile information gathered from meetings.
Convey clients’ needs and goals to the Designer based on project scope.
Coordinate with the Designer and client on design/build projects.
Prepare a final proposal encompassing all project details.
Discuss proposals with clients.
Close sales.
Identify and develop new client relationships.
Attend networking events to develop new business.
Develop strategic partner relationships to create an ongoing referral pipeline.
