Landscaping Sales Representative at Element Outdoor Living
About The Position
Element Outdoor Living is seeking a relationship-driven Outdoor Living Sales Representative to guide homeowners through the sale of custom outdoor living projects, from the initial consultation through contract signing. Projects may include luxury patios, outdoor kitchens, custom landscapes, lighting, water features, and other outdoor living spaces. The representative will build trust, understand clients’ visions and budgets, collaborate with the Landscape Design team, and work with project managers and production teams to support a seamless client experience. The role is based in Wilmington, North Carolina. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of consultative sales experience in landscaping, outdoor living, construction, design/build, luxury home improvement, or a related industry.
- Experience selling large residential projects involving multiple decision-makers.
- Strong presentation and proposal development skills.
- Ability to discuss budgets, pricing, and investment value confidently.
- Excellent relationship-building and follow-up skills.
- Experience with estimating software such as Aspire, or the ability to learn it quickly.
Responsibilities
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their vision, goals, and budget.
- Conduct site visits and evaluate property conditions.
- Collaborate with the Landscape Design team to develop outdoor living solutions.
- Present designs and proposals confidently and enthusiastically.
- Manage the sales process from consultation through contract signing.
- Build long-term client relationships through outstanding communication and service.
- Work closely with project managers and production teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
