About The Position
Under the general direction of the Plant Operations Director, the Groundskeeper maintains outdoor spaces to ensure their aesthetic appeal and functionality. Duties include mowing lawns; weeding and trimming around walkways, flowerbeds, and walls; planting, watering, and pruning shrubs and trees; and maintaining flowerbeds. The role also involves removing trash from hospital grounds, parking lots, ditches, and culverts; painting and repairing fences and walkways; and operating machinery and a company vehicle.
Requirements
- High school graduate with some trade school or equivalent.
- Able to read and write English and follow oral and written instructions.
- If driving a company vehicle, have no moving violations within the last three years and no previous DUI charges.
Nice To Haves
- Previous groundskeeping experience preferred.
