About The Position

Walmart is hiring a Landscape Technician to keep landscapes attractive, clean, and well maintained. The work includes mowing, trimming, pruning, and fertilizing lawns, shrubs, bushes, trees, and flowers, as well as grounds maintenance around parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas. The role is performed outdoors in varying weather and involves physical labor. The Landscape Technician works as part of a team responsible for landscaping and exterior cleaning and grounds maintenance, while following safety, security, integrity, and applicable corporate and government requirements.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience mowing, trimming, and pruning year-round.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license for at least 3 years and have a clean driving record; pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• Pass a driver’s road test for the combination truck and trailer operated within the scope of work.
• Obtain appropriate state licensing and/or endorsements for operating if required.
• Pass all contingencies, including a medical exam, drug screen, MVR check, and background check.
• Be comfortable working outdoors in different types of weather and performing physical labor.
