About The Position

Walmart is hiring a Landscape Technician to maintain attractive, clean, and well-kept landscapes. The work includes mowing lawns and trimming and pruning shrubs, lawns, bushes, trees, and flowers throughout the year. The role also involves grounds maintenance in parking lots, around exterior buildings, and in surrounding areas. The Landscape Technician works as part of a team responsible for landscaping and exterior cleaning and grounds maintenance. The position requires working outdoors in different weather conditions and performing physical labor, while following safety, security, integrity, and applicable corporate and government requirements.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in year-round mowing, trimming, and pruning.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid state-issued driver’s license held for at least 3 years, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
• Successfully complete and pass a road test for the combination truck and trailer operated for the work.
• Be able to obtain appropriate state licensing and/or endorsements if required.
• Pass all contingencies: medical exam, drug screen, MVR, and background check.
• Be willing to work outdoors in different types of weather and perform physical labor.
