About The Position

Hittle Landscaping is seeking a Landscape Crew Member to perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the construction, installation, and maintenance of quality landscapes. The ideal candidate will be courteous, responsible, and dependable, adhering to all safety guidelines with a positive, can-do attitude. As the face of Hittle, Crew Members should be respectful and courteous.

Requirements

• Ability to properly lift heavy materials, stoop, bend, stand
• Knowledge of uses and purposes of general construction and maintenance tools and equipment, safe work practices
• Ability to perform semi-skilled and skilled tasks in a variety of construction and maintenance activities
• Perform heavy manual labor
• Understand and carry out directions
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships

• Driver's license

Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools in landscape maintenance work such as line trimmers and pruners
• Operate mowers, tractors, trenchers, vehicles, and equipment
• Water plants; mow grass; trim trees and bushes
• Install bulk mulch, down-spouts and sod, plant flowers, shrubs, and trees
• Rake leaves and clean walks, fields, courts etc.
• Represent Hittle Landscaping in a positive manner
• Snow removal in the winter
