Landscape & Irrigation Foreman
About The Position
Bauman Landscape and Construction is looking for an experienced Landscape & Irrigation Foreman to lead a field crew and ensure our landscape & Irrigation work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard. This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll be working in the field alongside your crew while coordinating the day's work, keeping the team productive, maintaining quality standards, and making sure our clients receive the level of service they expect from Bauman. If you know landscape and irrigation, know how to lead people, and take pride in leaving every property looking its best, this could be a great long-term opportunity.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional landscape & irrigation experience
- At least 1 year of experience leading or supervising a landscape crew
- Strong knowledge of irrigation, including various controllers, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with fused pipe, copper pipe, PVC pipes, HDPE pipes, etc.
- Ability to organize a crew, prioritize work, and keep jobs moving
- Comfortable working hands-on in the field while providing leadership and direction
- Strong attention to quality and detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct a landscape crew in the field
- Plan daily activities, assign work, and keep the crew on schedule
- Work alongside the team performing landscape & Irrigation as required
- Oversee planting, pruning, irrigation, turf care, and hardscape during plant establishment period
- Inspect completed work and make sure Bauman's quality standards are consistently met
- Monitor productivity and help the crew complete work efficiently and within in budget
- Enforce safe work practices and company safety procedures
- Communicate professionally with clients and address routine service requests
- Train and support crew members as they develop their skills
- Ensure trucks, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use
