About The Position

The Landscape Foreman is responsible for reading landscape plans, laying out and installing landscapes according to plan, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on role where the foreman works alongside their team, directing, overseeing, and participating in all tasks. The position requires meeting production and schedule deadlines while maintaining excellent customer service and quality. The foreman is also responsible for organizing jobs to be completed on time and on budget, training new crew members, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. This includes completing inventory checks, equipment inspections, and necessary paperwork.

Requirements

  • 2-year minimum experience in foreman position.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
  • Self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills.
  • Professional in appearance and actions.
  • Ability to be proactive, plan ahead and problem solve to minimize disruption, errors, risks while keeping projects on task, within budget and on time.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Competent reading and writing skills.
  • Horticulture or landscape background.
  • Understanding of irrigation systems and drainage.
  • Understanding of standard construction.
  • Be able to lift 50-lbs unassisted.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Able to operate a variety of mechanical equipment including skid steers, excavators, and dingo utility loaders.
  • Proficient in LMN.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English).

Responsibilities

  • Read landscape plans and layout/install landscapes according to plan.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including work sites and equipment.
  • Complete inventory checks and equipment inspections.
  • Notify management of repairs when needed.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork including time sheets, work orders, change orders, equipment logs, and audit checklists.
