Landscape Crew Lead | North Royalton, Ohio
About The Position
The Landscape Crew Lead directs crew members and equipment and plans and executes assigned landscape work. The role enhances the appearance and value of properties by leading daily grounds and turf maintenance, including planting, trimming, mowing, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing. The crew lead learns to diagnose insect, disease, and cultural or environmental conditions affecting turf and shrubs, communicates with management and clients about landscape needs, and drives, uses, maintains, and operates landscape equipment. The position is based outdoors at an on-site work location in North Royalton, Ohio, with travel expectations of up to 25%.
Requirements
- Love of the outdoors.
- Ability to complete the Davey landscape career development books upon hire.
- Ability to complete the Davey first aid, CPR, and defensive driving course upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Background in horticulture or landscaping.
- Knowledge of turf, weeds, and tree and shrub identification.
