About The Position

The Landscape Technician executes planned landscaping operations and maintains grounds and landscapes at private, governmental, or business residences. The role includes learning and performing planting, trimming, mowing, weeding, and mulching; diagnosing insect, disease, and cultural or environmental conditions affecting turf and shrubs; communicating with management and clients about landscape needs; and operating and maintaining equipment. The position is permanent, full-time, and onsite in North Royalton, Ohio, with travel expectations of up to 25%.

Requirements

Love of the outdoors.
Ability to complete the Davey Landscape career development books upon hire.
Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR, and defensive driving course upon hire.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Background in forestry, horticulture, or landscaping.
Knowledge of turf, weeds, tree and shrub identification, pathology, and turf or tree physiology.
Class A or B driver’s license with Airbrake Endorsement.
Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law.
