About The Position

The Land Material Coordinator supports inventory management and operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety standards and facilitating material handling and distribution. The role involves receiving, storing, inspecting, documenting, and distributing materials, as well as coordinating material inspections and transportation. The coordinator must be able to operate a forklift and become certified to operate one at a customer facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5–7 years of experience.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to operate a forklift and obtain certification to operate at a customer facility.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies for effective security operations protecting people, data, property, and institutions.

Nice To Haves

• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and count stock items, recording data manually or using a computer.
• Pack and unpack items for stocking on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Verify inventory computations against physical stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and correct errors.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Keep records of stock use or damage and damage to stock-handling equipment.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects and report damage to supervisors.
• Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.
• Determine storage methods, identification, and stock locations based on turnover, environmental factors, and facility capabilities.
• Coordinate with QA/QC when material inspection or document review is needed.
• Coordinate transportation of materials to other locations, maintain transfer records, and maintain a trucking log.
• Operate a forklift and become certified to operate one at a customer facility.
