About The Position

Permian Resources is seeking a Land Tech reporting to the Land Lead in Midland, Texas. The position works with the Land and Business Development departments on deal evaluation and transactions, contributing technical and communication skills as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. The role supports deal evaluation, transaction management, and onboarding of new assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of oil and gas practices and policies, with the ability to apply that knowledge to work.
• Experience working with land systems and applications such as Quorum, Drilling Info, DocVue, and ExecuteAFE.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated integrity in work product and dealings with coworkers.
• Strong attention to detail and flexibility regarding workload and priorities.
• Basic research skills, including reviewing multiple data sources to find specific information.

Nice To Haves

• 2–3 years of oil and gas experience.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Asset Land and Business Development teams on deal evaluation, transactions, and onboarding of new assets.
• Manage technical-level responsibilities on deals from initiation through onboarding.
• Manage and organize virtual data room (VDR) data and date updates during the evaluation process.
• Work with Business Development Land on creating applicable exhibits and schedules.
• Manage SLO/BLM transfers on inbound assets.
• Manage surface right-of-way transfers on inbound assets.
• Coordinate data integration from Business Development to other Permian Resources departments.
• Track consents and organize diligence.
• Handle other items associated with deal evaluation and transaction management.
