About The Position
VHB’s Winooski, Vermont office is seeking a Land Development Intern for Summer 2027. The intern will contribute to civil engineering projects and develop technical skills and experience with computational software. The position offers an hourly pay range of $19 to $30, with the actual rate determined by job-related factors. Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to independently perform multiple tasks and interact appropriately and positively with coworkers.
- Self-motivated, with attention to detail.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Interact effectively with VHB staff, clients, and consultants to advance projects in a timely manner.
- Perform engineering calculations.
- Prepare preliminary and final design plans.
- Prepare contract documents, including specifications.
- Prepare engineer’s estimates.
- Prepare construction documents.
