D.R. Horton is hiring a Land Intern for its Summer 2027 internship program. The program provides students with hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to career opportunities at D.R. Horton, its affiliated business functions, and the homebuilding and homebuying process. Interns are assigned to a primary department or functional area and may gain experience through departmental rotations, project work, administrative support, research, reporting, training, office and field-based activities, jobsite observation, systems support, and other learning opportunities based on departmental needs, location, and business priorities. The intern supports operations and assigned business needs, learns departmental responsibilities and company procedures, and collaborates with team members and cross-functional departments. The role includes training and other learning opportunities and may help interns explore future career opportunities. Overtime and travel, including occasional overnight travel, may be required as business needs dictate. Work settings and physical requirements vary by assignment and location and may include office, field, or jobsite activities.
