About The Position
The Laborer assists with manufacturing activities by applying endplates by hand or machine, operating banding equipment, and helping load and unload materials and charges. The role also supports material storage, tagging, dunnage preparation, work-area cleaning, and maintenance of company property, plant, and equipment. The Laborer participates in and contributes to the company safety program and performs other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities
- Apply endplates by hand or machine.
- Operate banding equipment.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials.
- Assist in loading and unloading charges.
- Assist with storage by setting stickers and dunnage.
- Tag materials with proper product tags.
- Cut dunnage.
- Assist in cleaning work areas and painting and maintaining property, plant, and equipment.
- Participate in and contribute to the company safety program.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
