About The Position
The Laborer provides labor for a location or manufacturing facility. This entry-level role involves loading, unloading, and stocking building materials. The position supports the team as needed and requires a commitment to safety. It has no supervisory responsibilities. The work is primarily outdoors, where employees may encounter extreme temperatures and weather variations. The role requires frequent lifting and carrying of materials weighing up to 100 pounds. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- No experience required.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to follow explicit instructions.
- Ability to lift up to and including 100 pounds repetitively.
- Use a tape measure and other basic equipment as assigned.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in manual labor-intensive positions preferred.
Responsibilities
- Load or unload building materials and components as assigned.
- Move or stock materials safely as assigned by a supervisor.
- Follow the direct supervisor’s instructions.
- Assist other yard or manufacturing associates as required by location management.
- Operate equipment safely.
