About The Position

Structis is hiring construction laborers to support the installation of gypsum- and concrete-based floor products, including underlayments and sound-control, resurfacing, and moisture-emissions projects. The work includes preparing and mixing materials, setting up pouring equipment, finishing poured Gypcrete floors, transporting supplies, and assisting crew members. The role offers year-round work, paid training and certifications, weekly pay, performance increases, and advancement opportunities. Employees work at various project sites throughout the New England area.

Requirements

Know how to use basic hand tools.
Have a basic knowledge of reading a tape measure.
Be hard-working and goal-oriented.
Be reliable and punctual.
Be able to drive to various project sites.
Be able to multitask.
Be comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment as required.
Be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 80 pounds of product repetitively.

Nice To Haves

Previous construction experience.
Previous experience working on a concrete crew.

Responsibilities

Break open bags of Gypcrete and pour the material into a mixer.
Set up the hose for pouring and connect it to the mixer.
Operate a Bobcat to move sand into the mixer.
Finish poured Gypcrete floors.
Carry supplies onto job sites.
Pick up or deliver supplies as needed.
Assist other crew members as necessary.
Use small tools and perform basic equipment repairs.
