About The Position

The Laboratory Technician III performs testing in a microbiology laboratory in a fast-paced GMP environment, supporting environmental monitoring, raw materials, in-process product, and final product activities. The role analyzes test data and evaluates results, writes procedures with guidance, and works under a supervisor’s guidance while managing time efficiently to complete assigned duties on time.

Requirements

• At least an associate degree is required, preferably in a scientific field such as chemistry, microbiology, or biology.
• Maintain certifications as needed for assigned job tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform written test methods to support product and material release.
• Maintain a safe work environment for themselves and others in accordance with procedural requirements.
• Implement and maintain GMP practices for laboratory records, procedures, and systems in accordance with procedural requirements.
• Perform environmental monitoring using required equipment and at the required frequency.
• Complete assigned tasks as committed and work with others to maintain a positive atmosphere and accomplish business objectives.
• Revise procedures as necessary and provide departmental support.
• Support investigations.
• Perform trained laboratory techniques effectively and with minimal error.
