About The Position

Casey’s Store Manager oversees all aspects of operating a successful store, including team management, guest service, merchandising, loss prevention, and food preparation. The role contributes to a fun and helpful store atmosphere for guests, team members, and the community. Casey’s offers a customizable career path for continued growth in management and leadership. The Store Manager executes company initiatives, drives sales, and maintains quality and service standards. The position manages staffing and labor, develops team members, oversees kitchen operations, and ensures store procedures, inventory, audits, and asset-protection processes are completed. The manager partners with the District Manager and store leadership team on action plans based on performance indicators and P&L statements, and completes required training and assessments.

Flexibility to take calls as needed and work varied hours, including at least one evening shift per week, every other weekend, and some holidays.
Ability to stand and/or walk; lift and/or carry 10–50 pounds; perform repetitive wrist, hand, and/or finger motions; and reach, bend, stoop, climb, and reach above shoulder level.
A background check may be required consistent with state licensing requirements and applicable law.

Responsibilities

Execute Casey's strategic initiatives, drive sales, and maintain quality and service standards.
Ensure the store is stocked and clean and build strong relationships with guests and the community.
Hire, train, develop, and supervise Team Members; coach and mentor them to support their success and growth.
Model and coach Casey’s CARES values: Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, and Service.
Manage the labor budget and staffing needs for regular hours, special events, and high-traffic periods.
Maintain the scheduling system, prepare and post schedules on time, and communicate schedule updates.
Oversee kitchen operations to maximize productivity and profitability.
Complete daily bookwork, Daily Store Walk, Daily Task Lists, required counts, audits, and merchandise orders.
Manage inventory and Direct Store Deliveries (DSD).
Ensure asset-protection processes and audits are completed to protect company assets.
Partner with the District Manager and store leadership team to develop Store Action Plans in response to key performance indicators and P&L statements.
Attend and successfully complete required job training and assessments, including ServSafe Food Protection Manager where applicable, and ensure Team Members complete required training.
