About The Position
The Laboratory Aide supports laboratory work and must be familiar with laboratory equipment and procedures. The role requires attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, organization, and the ability to follow directions and work independently using sound judgment. The position may involve exposure to bio-hazardous materials and the possibility of cuts and burns.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in high school.
- Strong academic performance in science courses.
- Completion of relevant coursework or demonstrated interest in scientific research.
- Familiarity with laboratory work and laboratory equipment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Well organized and able to follow directions.
- Ability to work independently and apply sound judgment.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a laboratory is highly desirable.
