About The Position

The Labor Deployment Specialist, reporting to Sr. Vice President of Installation Services, is responsible for supporting forecasting, planning, allocating, and coordinating field labor resources to align with NPSG Global’s project schedule. This role ensures the right talent with the right skills is deployed to the right place at the right time through execution of established deployment processes and scheduling workflows. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment, excels at cross-functional communication, and can operationally balance labor availability with dynamic demands while ensuring adherence to company processes, communication standards, and scheduling cadences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in labor deployment, scheduling, or operations support.
  • Proficiency with labor planning tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in multi-site field operations environments.
  • Familiarity with safety or compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day deployment readiness of field technicians, team leads, and project labor across all active engagements.
  • Assist with labor forecasting activities using upcoming project pipelines, historical data, and client demand.
  • Track and analyze labor utilization and recommend schedule adjustments to address over-allocation, under-allocation, or conflicts.
  • Support and participate in required daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence activities related to deployment planning, resource updates, and labor reporting.
  • Conduct daily/weekly information gathering and complete platform updates to ensure accurate operational schedules and deployment visibility.
  • Monitor the status, availability, and readiness of workers on the bench to support engagement and preparedness for upcoming assignments.
  • Communicate regularly with bench employees regarding expected timelines, training opportunities, travel requirements, and next steps.
  • Document skill gaps or certification needs among bench talent and share findings with divisional leadership.
  • Track bench duration and utilization trends and flag risks related to extended downtime or skill misalignment.
  • Work collaboratively with Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Safety teams to support resource readiness.
  • Follow documented organizational policies related to hiring, downtime/furlough, and termination, escalating exceptions as needed.
  • Act as an operational point of contact for deployment updates and schedule changes.
  • Prepare standard weekly reporting on labor utilization and deployment trends.
  • Communicate assignment expectations and travel requirements clearly to field personnel.
  • Maintain strong documentation and reporting practices.
