About The Position

At ICON Strategic Solutions, the Lab Technologist will work in a sponsor-dedicated model with support from ICON’s global expertise. The position is intended for a Lab Technologist interested in moving into a CRA role and contributes to clinical trial operations, collaborating with others to deliver high-quality outcomes across clinical programmes. The role involves clinical trial monitoring and coordinating study setup and monitoring activities.

Requirements

• University degree in medicine or science.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and ability to review and evaluate medical data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good social skills and ability to address queries in a timely manner.
• Willingness to travel as required, approximately 30%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for setting up and monitoring a study, working independently and proactively.
• Complete accurate study status reports and maintain study documentation.
• Manage sponsor-generated queries efficiently and take responsibility for study cost efficiency.
• Participate in preparing and reviewing study documentation and feasibility studies for new proposals as required.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, clinical investigators, and site staff.
• Help ensure patient safety by complying with ICON procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
