About The Position

At ICON Strategic Solutions, the Lab Technologist will work in a sponsor-dedicated model with support from ICON’s global expertise. This position is intended for a laboratory technologist interested in moving into a CRA position and contributes to clinical trial operations, collaborating with teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes across clinical programmes. The role involves clinical trial monitoring and coordination of study setup and monitoring activities.

Employment with ICON is contingent on having the legal right to work in the country where the role is based. Benefits may vary depending on role and location.

Requirements

• University degree in medicine or science.
• Experience working in a laboratory.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and ability to review and evaluate medical data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Good social skills and ability to handle queries in a timely manner.
• Willingness to travel as required, approximately 30%.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for study setup and monitoring independently and proactively.
• Complete accurate study status reports and maintain study documentation.
• Run sponsor-generated queries efficiently and take responsibility for study cost efficiency.
• Participate in preparing and reviewing study documentation and feasibility studies for new proposals as required.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, clinical investigators, and site staff.
• Support patient safety by ensuring compliance with ICON procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
