About The Position

At ICON Strategic Solutions, the CRA I, Lab Technologist works in a sponsor-dedicated model with support from ICON’s global expertise. The role contributes to clinical trial operations and collaborates with teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes across clinical programmes. The client is seeking a laboratory technologist interested in becoming a CRA. The position involves clinical trial monitoring, study setup and monitoring, maintaining study documentation, and ensuring compliance with procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• University degree in medicine or science.
• Experience working in a laboratory.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and ability to review and evaluate medical data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Good social skills and ability to address queries in a timely manner.
• Willingness to travel as required, approximately 60%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for setting up and monitoring a study, working independently and proactively.
• Complete accurate study status reports and maintain study documentation.
• Run sponsor-generated queries efficiently and take responsibility for study cost efficiency.
• Participate in preparing and reviewing study documentation and feasibility studies for new proposals as required.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, clinical investigators, and site staff.
• Help ensure patient safety through compliance with ICON procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
