About The Position

At ICON Strategic Solutions, the Lab Technologist will work in a sponsor-dedicated model with support from ICON’s global expertise. The position is intended for a Lab Technologist interested in moving into a CRA position. The role contributes to clinical trial operations and involves collaborative work to deliver high-quality outcomes across clinical programmes.

The role includes coordinating study setup and monitoring activities, maintaining accurate study status reports and documentation, handling sponsor-generated queries, and supporting study cost efficiency. The Lab Technologist may also participate in preparing and reviewing study documentation and feasibility studies for new proposals. The role requires building collaborative relationships with clinical investigators, site staff, and other stakeholders, while ensuring patient safety and compliance with ICON procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. Travel is approximately 30% as required.

Requirements

• University degree in medicine or science.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and ability to review and evaluate medical data.
• Experience working in a laboratory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Good social skills and ability to handle queries in a timely manner.
• Willingness to travel as required, approximately 30%.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for setting up and monitoring studies independently and proactively.
• Complete accurate study status reports and maintain study documentation.
• Handle sponsor-generated queries efficiently and take responsibility for study cost efficiency.
• Participate in preparing and reviewing study documentation and feasibility studies for new proposals as required.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, clinical investigators, and site staff.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with ICON procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
