Lab Technician 1
About The Position
Pace is seeking a Lab Technician to work in the sample preparation department of its environmental testing laboratory. The role supports scientists by preparing water and soil samples before analysis, following established procedures, handling solvents and chemicals, and maintaining documentation and databases. Training is provided. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and pays $18.00 per hour. Compensation may vary based on geographic location, experience, education, skills, internal equity, market conditions, budget, and organizational guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a laboratory or office setting.
- Ability to remain standing for long periods while conducting tests.
- Ability to work around strong smells.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment when handling samples, including a lab coat, safety glasses, and gloves.
