About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Support Services Supervisor, the Lab Support Tech provides quality, customer-oriented laboratory services. These include specimen procurement, specimen processing, related specialized procedures, and communicating information to users of Laboratory Services to help the department operate efficiently and fulfill its mission. Lab Support Techs also provide training and guidance to less experienced laboratory support technicians.

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., including rotational weekends and holidays. The compensation range is $20.42–$26.41. Base pay is determined using factors including education, experience, and licensure or certifications related to the position. Requirements

• High school diploma.
• One year of phlebotomy, EKG, and/or specimen processing experience is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification (ASCP) is preferred.
