About The Position

Ag Processing Inc. (AGP) is hiring a self-motivated, full-time Lab Tech for its Hastings, Nebraska team. The role performs laboratory analyses on production and final product samples, records and reports results, and provides scale coverage as needed to support grain receiving, shipping, and daily operations. The scheduled shift is 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with every third weekend as assigned.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be a team player who takes initiative.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be able and willing to work a scheduled shift of 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and every third weekend as assigned.
• Be willing and able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform accurate laboratory analyses on production and final product samples.
• Record test results in the database.
• Report results to others accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide scale coverage as needed to support grain receiving, shipping, and daily operational activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
