This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for a Lab Demonstrator in Oenology and Viticulture (OEVI) 3P21 for the Winter D3 term. The nominal workload for this position is 10 hours per week, consisting of 6 hours demonstrating and 4 hours of marking and lab preparation. Duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement. The incumbent will work under the direction of the Senior Lab Instructor, be familiar with laboratory procedures, present an introduction to the lab, demonstrate laboratory techniques, teach and assist students during the lab, maintain safe lab conditions, be responsible for lab preparation and cleanup, mark lab reports, and attend meetings as needed. Compensation is based on qualifications, with an undergraduate rate of $22.07 per hour and a graduate rate of $34.73 per hour (effective September 1, 2024).
