About The Position

This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy for a Lab Demonstrator for BIOL 3P50 in the Winter D3-3 term. Compensation for this position is based on the employee's qualifications, with specific rates for those without a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree (undergraduate rate) and those who hold such a degree (graduate rate). The nominal workload for this position is 10 hours per week, comprising 6 hours of demonstrating and 4 hours of marking and lab preparation. Duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Article 22 of the Collective Agreement. The role involves working under the direction of the Senior Lab Instructor, familiarizing oneself with laboratory procedures, introducing students to the lab, demonstrating techniques, assisting students during the lab, maintaining safe lab conditions, preparing and cleaning up the lab, marking lab reports, and attending meetings as needed.
