About The Position

Valley View Hospital is hiring a full-time Lab Aide to work in its Laboratory. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., including one weekend shift per month. The Lab Aide receives and collects laboratory specimens, performs phlebotomy and capillary sticks according to laboratory procedures, registers patients, and enters orders.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Basic computer and filing skills.
Ability to order tests accurately.

Nice To Haves

One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
