About The Position

Design Interactive is building a talent pipeline in support of the SOCOM Enterprise Knowledge Management (EKM) proposal effort. The anticipated Knowledge Management Systems Specialist position will support the program in the functional area described below. Employment is contingent upon contract award, final Government requirements, funding, and candidate qualification for the Journeyman (JM) labor level. Work location, travel, schedule, citizenship, and clearance requirements remain to be confirmed. Serves as technical administrator for Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, and other knowledge, collaboration, and learning platforms using approved native configuration and controlled change processes.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration experience.
  • Experience with Power Platform environment administration and native configuration.
  • Knowledge of permissions, content types, metadata, taxonomy, term stores, search, workflows, and information architecture.
  • Experience troubleshooting configuration issues and supporting controlled changes or migrations.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in the functional area.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to the functional area.
  • Six (6) years of additional work experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree, or four (4) years of additional work experience plus a relevant associate’s degree may substitute for the bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and sustain sites, libraries, lists, permission groups, workflows, navigation, content types, course catalogs, and enrollment rules.
  • Implement approved content models and information architecture using native and out-of-the-box capabilities.
  • Provision workspaces from standard templates and validate access before release.
  • Administer settings, accounts, roles, and entitlements and apply vendor updates through controlled changes.
  • Diagnose configuration and content issues and implement corrections.
  • Refer custom components, applications, or code-based extensions to platform engineering; escalate infrastructure, network, or identity issues.
  • Configure SharePoint search, taxonomy, term stores, and metadata.
  • Execute content migrations and site consolidations.
  • Independently perform support tasks.
  • Support assigned tasks and lead junior or apprentice-level support personnel.
