About The Position

The Kitchen Utility employee performs cleaning and sanitation duties throughout kitchen and related areas, including the tray line, walk-ins, and other assigned locations. The role includes washing dishes and food-preparation equipment, cleaning kitchen equipment and surfaces, maintaining floors and waste areas, and keeping the mop room orderly. The employee provides exceptional customer service, works safely, communicates effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and guests, and follows relevant policies and procedures. Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties in the kitchen, tray line area, walk-ins, and other assigned areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, preparation equipment, and food containers.
• Sweep and mop floors in assigned areas.
• Empty trash in kitchens and dining rooms.
• Clean ovens, steamers, steam kettles, countertops, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean filters for the kitchen and bakery.
• Steam-clean carts and floor mats.
• Clean walk-ins and wash walls.
• Keep the mop room clean and orderly.
• Filter and maintain kitchen equipment as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Work safely and follow established safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and guests.
• Follow relevant policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
