About The Position

Beautiful Interlachen Country Club in Winter Park, Florida, is hiring a full-time Kitchen Utility team member for its culinary team. The role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, cooking utensils, and equipment, and plays a vital part on the Culinary Team. Compensation is competitive based on experience. Vaccination is not required.

Requirements

• Be flexible and available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to bend, lift, and stretch occasionally.
• Be able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the dish machine and pot and pan sinks, keeping the area clean at all times.
• Prepare tableware for washing by removing food residue, sorting china, and running tableware through the dish machine.
• Properly store clean and sanitized tableware, buffet platters, and displays.
• Gather, wash, rinse, and sanitize cooking utensils and kitchen equipment, then return them to their proper places.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, coolers, storage areas, and similar areas.
• Regularly clean garbage cans with soap and water, and break down and empty boxes.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
