About The Position

TouchPoint is hiring full-time and part-time Kitchen Utility Leads at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The role assists shift supervisors and department directors with day-to-day department operations and helps maintain quality by training, supporting, supervising, and interacting with team members. The lead helps ensure daily assignments and schedules are completed, sets a positive example through professional interactions, and contributes to respectful, effective customer service for patients, families, visitors, coworkers, and others. The position works a schedule of 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; days may vary, and weekends and holidays are included. The pay range is $17.50 to $18.50 per hour. Safety shoes are provided, and the employer is willing to train. One to three years of previous food service sanitation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality customer service through attentive, detail-oriented, one-on-one interactions.
Provide assignments and assistance to team members.
Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment while performing job duties.
Relieve the shift supervisor when the supervisor is absent.
Adjust or cover schedules as needed during short staffing.
Conduct quality assurance surveys to ensure team members maintain established standards.
Monitor and report equipment issues or shortages.
Conduct customer and patient surveys.
Interact appropriately with patients and customers in relation to age-based competencies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or director.
