About The Position

Morrison Living is hiring full-time and part-time Kitchen Utility Leads at Croasdaile Village in Durham, North Carolina. The role assists shift supervisors and department directors with daily department operations and helps maintain high quality standards by training, supporting, supervising, and interacting with department team members. The lead ensures daily assignments and schedules are completed, sets a positive example through professional interactions, and contributes to respectful customer service. The role may also perform other duties assigned by a supervisor or director. The position pays $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. Schedules may vary and include shifts from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; rotating weekends are required. At least three years of prior kitchen utility experience is required.

Requirements

At least 3 years of prior kitchen utility experience.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality customer service through attentive, one-on-one service.
Provide assignments and assistance to team members.
Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment while performing job duties.
Relieve the shift supervisor when absent.
Adjust or cover schedules as needed during short staffing.
Conduct quality assurance surveys to ensure team members maintain established standards.
Monitor and report equipment issues or shortages.
Conduct customer and patient surveys.
Interact appropriately with patients and customers in relation to age-based competencies.
Support daily department operations and help ensure schedules and assignments are completed.
Perform other duties assigned by a supervisor or director.
