Kitchen Team Member
About The Position
Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to prepare food in a dynamic back-of-house team. The role supports the cafe’s menu of scratch-baked bread and pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches made with whole ingredients. The successful candidate works quickly and confidently, prepares meal items accurately to specification, multitasks, learns from mistakes, and proactively helps other departments. Shifts vary from week to week based on customer traffic and the time of year. The job requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities to sit. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Attentiveness to local, state, and federal food-handler and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work a schedule that varies from week to week according to customer traffic and time of year.
- Ability to stand and walk continuously during the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- A can-do attitude and ability to work quickly and confidently while preparing meal items accurately to specification.
