About The Position

Oakwood Hills, a Sky Active community in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, is hiring a Kitchen Supervisor to help create memorable, restaurant-style dining experiences for residents. The role combines cooking and kitchen supervision, with a focus on preparing quality meals safely, meeting residents’ dietary needs, and providing hospitality. The typical schedule is Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and rotating Fridays from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the Culinary Director. The schedule may change based on special events and scheduled department PTO. Periodic weekends and holidays are part of the role. Kitchen service typically wraps up by 7:00 p.m. Oakwood Hills describes the role as an opportunity to bring creativity to menus, special events, and themed dining; build relationships with residents and learn their preferences; and work a more predictable schedule than in traditional restaurant kitchens.
