Kitchen Steward - CCL (Full Time)
About The Position
The Kitchen Steward maintains a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward internal and external guests while completing dishwashing and kitchen-area upkeep. The role requires working effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and following company, departmental, gaming, sanitation, health, and other applicable regulations. Team members must be able to work assigned shifts, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. The work environment may include variable temperatures, smoke, steam, wet areas, and somewhat loud noise. Requirements
- Able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Able to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
- Able to communicate appropriately with all departments and fellow team members.
- Able to understand and adhere to applicable gaming, sanitation, health, alcohol-handling, and other regulations.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing and walking; using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls; reaching with hands and arms; talking and hearing; bending or stooping; and lifting up to 100 pounds, including overhead.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal guests.
- Wash dishes daily.
- Fill ice bins as needed.
- Empty garbage and mop floors.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Have complete knowledge of casino events and promotional activities.
- Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.
- Comply with policies and procedures established by Bally's and departmental management.
- Follow applicable Missouri Gaming Commission, sanitation, health department, alcohol-handling, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
- Effectively handle situations that may arise due to intoxicated guests.
- Accurately perform assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
