About The Position

The Kitchen Steward cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment, preparation areas, walk-ins, storage spaces, and other food and beverage workspaces. The role washes and stores dishes, cookware, glassware, and utensils, manages trash and recycling, and maintains bins and the dock area. The Kitchen Steward also supports kitchen and event teams with setup and breakdown and may occasionally assist with dish-up. Training is available for candidates without prior experience.

Requirements

• Food Safety Certificate or willingness to complete training within 90 days.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or squat for long periods.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, prep areas, walk-ins, and storage spaces.
• Wash and store dishes, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils in designated areas.
• Manage trash and recycling, clean bins, and maintain the dock area.
• Support kitchen and event teams with setup and breakdown, and occasionally assist with dish-up.
• Help maintain consistent sanitation standards across food and beverage workspaces.
