About The Position

Kimberton Whole Foods is hiring a part-time Kitchen Production Team Member for its Collegeville crew. The role focuses on preparing and packaging organic scratch recipes for sale in the Café. The schedule is Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for up to 24 hours per week. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. The hourly pay range is $16.00–$18.00. Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401(k) with 3% matching after one year and 1,000 hours worked.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Full range of vision, hearing, and smell to read product labels, distinguish color and smell for quality control, and communicate with customers and coworkers.
Ability to frequently lift, grip, and carry objects weighing up to 50–75 pounds, including boxes, cans, tools, and other products.
Ability to stoop, squat, and kneel to retrieve boxes from shelving and carts.
Ability to walk short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
Ability to work in cold environments, including coolers, freezers, and back-stock areas, and handle cold products for extended periods on a regular basis.
Ability to work in a movement-based environment, with most of the time spent walking and standing rather than sitting.

Responsibilities

Make sandwiches and wraps, box deli salads, and prepare and package baked goods.
Slice, weigh, and package deli meats, cheeses, and deli salads.
Support the juice and espresso bar and café as needed.
Wash, peel, and cut fruits, vegetables, and other foods for cooking or serving.
Stock and fill ready-to-eat and grab-and-go areas and ensure tags and pricing are accurate.
Wash dishes, pots, and pans.
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
Sweep and mop the kitchen floor.
Provide excellent customer service to customers.
