About The Position

The Kitchen Manager is a hands-on leader and key member of the store leadership team. Working closely with the Store Manager, the role trains, guides, and engages kitchen Team Members to deliver an exceptional guest experience. The Kitchen Manager manages day-to-day kitchen operations, focuses on food safety standards, oversees inventory, and influences activities in prepared foods and dispensed beverage areas to maximize productivity and profitability. The role works under the supervision of the Store Manager and is accountable for kitchen activities, 5S standards, and smooth daily operations. It may also involve performing Store Team Member duties when needed. The position is onsite in Panama City, Florida. Starting pay is $17.00–$19.55, with eligibility for quarterly bonuses based on kitchen performance; actual pay may vary based on qualifications and other stated factors.

Responsibilities

Train, guide, and engage kitchen Team Members; delegate tasks and coach for success.
Manage and influence operational activities in prepared foods and dispensed beverages to optimize performance, under the supervision of the Store Manager.
Partner with the Store Manager and remain accountable for kitchen activities, 5S standards, and smooth daily operations.
Oversee kitchen inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.
Anticipate and resolve guest concerns related to kitchen service, keeping the Store Manager informed.
Model and coach to Casey’s CARES values: Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, and Service.
Perform Store Team Member duties when needed.
