About The Position

Kitchen Helpers support cooks and waitstaff with a variety of kitchen and dining-area tasks. They help prepare food, clean kitchen equipment and work areas, handle dishes and utensils, receive and store supplies, and assist with customer orders and table upkeep as needed. The role is offered on a full-time, part-time, or weekend basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, cutting, peeling, and slicing ingredients.
• Mop and sweep the kitchen.
• Take out the garbage and replace garbage bags.
• Wash, dry, and put away dishes and kitchen utensils.
• Load and unload the dishwasher.
• Scrub pots and pans.
• Clean kitchen equipment and food preparation and storage areas.
• Unload food supplies from delivery trucks.
• Receive and store goods.
• Pack takeout orders for customers.
• Clear and clean tables for waitstaff when necessary.
• Refill condiments and other supplies at tables.
