About The Position

The Food Expeditor is a crucial role in ensuring that our restaurant operations run smoothly. This role is responsible for acting as the liaison between the kitchen and the front-of-house team, expediting food orders, and ensuring quality and prompt service. Success in this role contributes significantly to Little Creek Casino Resort's mission of exceeding guest expectations.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to make quick, effective decisions.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in food and beverage industry
  • Ability to acquire Class II Gaming License issued from Squaxin Island Gaming Commission
  • Current Washington State Food Worker Card
  • Class 12 Mixologist/Class13 Alcohol Server Permit
  • Regularly required to stand, walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Experience with the casino industry a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the servers.
  • Ensure that orders are accurate and meet quality standards.
  • Assist in the final preparation of dishes.
  • Act as a liaison between FOH and BOH
  • Manage and organize To-Go/Delivery supplies.
  • Inspect the premises for quality and sanitation standards.
  • Practice and uphold LCCR’s “7 Waterways” of best guest practices.
  • Responsible for internal control and compact compliance regarding operations and ensure compliance with regulation of the Tribal Gaming Commission.
