About The Position

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is hiring Kitchen Crew Members to support back-of-house operations and prepare high-quality food for customers. The hourly position pays $20.00 per hour. Crew members prepare and cook food to order, maintain food quality and portion control, and keep the restaurant clean while following health, safety, and company procedures. The position may be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Follow company policies and procedures and the Kitchen Crew Training Guideline.
• Prepare food, stock inventory, and maintain food quality and portion control while cooking and serving at the cookline.
• Prepare multiple food orders at the cookline and ensure orders are served accurately and on time.
• Maintain store cleanliness by completing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
